About this terrain
True-scale terrain from Environment Agency LIDAR, draped with a Sentinel-2 satellite image taken on 16 May 2025. Lakes, tarns, becks and woods come from OpenStreetMap and ESA WorldCover. Trees are drawn where the woods are, but each tree and its type is estimated, not surveyed. Contours are 50 m apart. The sky and clouds are illustrative, not a forecast. This view is not a route or navigation tool.
Heights are every 10 m within at least 5 km of the summit and every 100 m out to 30 km. The summit marker follows the LIDAR; the height label is the independent DoBIH survey.
The walker keeps to the 10 m survey around this fell. It slows on steep ground as a hill walker would (Tobler's hiking function), stops at slopes over 40° and at water, and knows nothing of paths, walls, fences, bogs or ownership. Walls and paths are not in the data, so it can go where you cannot.
